House of Kutch is engaged in collectible works, handcrafted objects, one-of-one creations, limited editions, textile expressions, heritage-led objects, artisan collaborations, cultural storytelling, and select bespoke or commissioned works.

2. ELIGIBILITY TO USE THE WEBSITE

By using this website or placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or accessing the website under supervision of a parent or guardian
  • Information provided during purchase is accurate and complete
  • You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements under applicable law

3. PRODUCTS & AUTHENTICITY

Many House of Kutch works are handcrafted, artisan-led, material-driven, one-of-one, limited-edition, or naturally variable in finish and character.

As a result:

Minor variations in texture, polish, finish, carving, embroidery, colour, grain, patina, handwork, tone, or detailing may naturally occur.

Such variations are considered part of the authenticity, individuality, and material character of handmade work and shall not be treated as defects.

Product photographs, descriptions, dimensions, finishes, and colours are shared with care; however, slight differences may occur due to handcrafted processes, natural material variation, photography, lighting conditions, screen settings, and display differences.

4. HERITAGE, STORIES & CULTURAL INTERPRETATION

House of Kutch shares narratives, historical references, artisan knowledge, oral traditions, and cultural interpretations with care and sincerity as part of an ongoing engagement with heritage, material culture, and storytelling.

In some cases, historical details, timelines, names, interpretations, or oral accounts may vary, evolve, or hold multiple perspectives across regions, communities, families, archives, and traditions.

5. PRICING & PAYMENTS

All prices listed on the website are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

Payments may be processed through trusted payment gateway providers, including Razorpay.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Net Banking
  • Wallets
  • EMI (where enabled)

International checkout and payments may be supported where applicable.

House of Kutch reserves the right to modify pricing, discontinue products, correct pricing errors, or revise availability without prior notice.

6. ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Placing an order does not automatically constitute final acceptance.

House of Kutch reserves the right to review, refuse, or cancel orders in circumstances including but not limited to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Pricing or technical errors
  • Suspected fraud or misuse
  • Duplicate transactions
  • Incorrect information provided during checkout
  • Payment verification concerns

Where applicable, approved refunds shall be processed to the original payment method.

7. ORDER CANCELLATION

Most House of Kutch works available on the website are ready-to-ship collectible objects.

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided the order has not entered dispatch, packaging, or production preparation.

Please note:

The following may not be cancelled once preparation, finishing, production, or dispatch processing has begun:

  • Handmade works
  • Made-to-order products
  • Bespoke or commissioned works
  • One-of-one creations
  • Limited-edition works

Once an order has been shipped, cancellation shall not be possible.

8. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

House of Kutch ships across India and select international destinations through trusted logistics partners.

Estimated dispatch timelines are generally:

  • Ready-to-ship works: 3–5 working days
  • Handmade or limited-edition works: approximately 2–4 weeks
  • Bespoke or commissioned works: timeline communicated separately

Estimated timelines are indicative and may vary depending on logistics, artisan schedules, weather, holidays, customs, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

For international orders, customs duties, import taxes, or local charges (if applicable) remain the responsibility of the customer.

9. RETURNS & REFUNDS

As many House of Kutch works are collectible, handcrafted, limited-edition, or one-of-one in nature, we do not accept returns.

Refunds may only be considered in approved situations such as:

  • Transit damage
  • Incorrect item received
  • Fulfilment failure by House of Kutch

Claims for transit-related concerns must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video, as this helps us work more efficiently with courier and logistics partners while reviewing claims.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method and may require approximately 7–10 business days, subject to banking or payment gateway timelines.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & RESPONSIBLE USE

All website content, designs, artistic works, object forms, product compositions, photographs, narratives, graphics, written material, research content, branding, and creative expressions associated with House of Kutch remain the intellectual property of House of Kutch LLP unless otherwise stated.

We kindly request that no work, imagery, object form, design language, photograph, product composition, text, or associated material be:

  • Reproduced
  • Commercially reused
  • Replicated
  • Adapted
  • Digitally trained or used for AI datasets
  • Redistributed
  • Published or modified

without prior written permission.

If you wish to reference, publish, collaborate, exhibit, academically discuss, license, or otherwise engage with House of Kutch material, we warmly welcome a conversation and request that you contact us for written permission.

11. BESPOKE & COMMISSIONED WORK

House of Kutch may undertake select bespoke, commissioned, or made-to-order work.

Such work may involve:

  • Consultations
  • Custom approvals
  • Deposits or milestone payments
  • Extended timelines

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments made towards commissioned or bespoke work may be non-refundable once work has commenced.

12. WEBSITE USE

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the website
  • Attempt unauthorised access
  • Interfere with website systems or functionality
  • Copy or scrape website content without permission
  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

House of Kutch reserves the right to restrict access where misuse is reasonably suspected.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

House of Kutch shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, technical, customs-related, courier-related, delay-related, or third-party losses arising from website use, shipping delays, banking failures, logistics disruptions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Where liability applies, it shall remain limited to the order value paid by the customer.

Customer information is handled thoughtfully and used only for operational, delivery, billing, communication, legal, taxation, and internal business purposes.

15. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
