At House of Kutch, each object is approached with care and offered as a collectible expression of craft, materiality, heritage, and storytelling. Many of our works are handcrafted, one-of-one, limited-edition, or created through processes that naturally carry uniqueness and variation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This policy outlines our position on returns, refunds, cancellations, and transit-related concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. NO RETURNS POLICY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As many House of Kutch works are collectible, handcrafted, one-of-one, limited-edition, ready collectible objects, or made through artisan-led processes, we do not accept returns<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We kindly request customers to review product descriptions, dimensions, materials, and images carefully before placing an order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. ELIGIBLE REFUND CASES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Refunds may only be considered in the following situations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The item received was damaged in transit
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • An incorrect item was received
    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • An order was accepted and paid for but could not be fulfilled by House of Kutch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As many works are limited or one-of-one, replacement of the exact product may not be possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Where a refund is approved, House of Kutch reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. TRANSIT DAMAGE OR INCORRECT ITEM<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    • Receipt of an incorrect item<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video<\/strong> for ease of process in case of transit-related concerns, as it helps us work more efficiently with our courier and logistics partners while reviewing claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Claims raised after 48 hours of delivery<\/strong> may not be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        4. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Refunds or claims may not be accepted in cases involving:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Minor handcrafted variations in finish, texture, polish, carving, colour, embroidery, grain, patina, tone, or detailing

        • Natural material inconsistencies
          <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Slight differences caused by photography, lighting, or screen display variations
          <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Delayed claims beyond the reporting timeline
          <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Damage caused after delivery due to improper handling, storage, moisture, environmental exposure, or customer misuse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          As handmade and material-led works naturally vary, minor differences should be understood as part of the authenticity and character of the object and shall not be treated as defects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          5. REFUND PROCESSING<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Where refunds are approved, they shall be processed to the original payment method<\/strong> used during purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Refund timelines are generally:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Approximately 7\u201310 business days<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          In rare circumstances, slight delays may occur due to technical processing at payment gateway providers, banking systems, or payment partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          6. ORDER CANCELLATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Most House of Kutch works available on the website are ready-to-ship collectible objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement<\/strong>, provided the order has not entered dispatch, packaging, or production preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The following cannot be cancelled once preparation, production, finishing, or dispatch processing has begun:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Once an order has been shipped, cancellation shall not be possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
